Genetic Programming

While running yesterday, I was further reflecting on my conversation yesterday with Ward. We were discussing the importance of iterative reflection.

I thought that there was an interesting correlation between the concept of Genetic Programming and iterative reflection. The idea that you could take a set of generic programs and, through a process of fast, iterative attempts at solving a problem, automatically transform into a solution, is amazing. The key, here, is the speed of iteration. Try, analyze, and re-configure - fast. The speed of iteration is the key.

This concept re-enforces the importance of quick, frequent reflection to quickly derive meaning.
