Let's start by first talking about the "nouns" of pattern languages for organizational change, the different Roles the people can play.

Each of those Roles have a library of potential Activities that they can do move this transformation process along.

Often, organizational change starts with an Evangelist.

The concept of Pattern Languages was introduced by an architect and urban designer, Christopher Alexander. This concept was then introduced by Ward Cunningham when he was laying early foundations of the Agile movement with Kent Beck.
